Rotary Centenary Celebrations with Rotary Club of North Sydney

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—This year marks 100 years since the beginning of Rotary in Australia. I would like to acknowledge this milestone by recognising the 93 years of service provided by the Rotary Club of North Sydney. The club recently celebrated this great achievement by unveiling a plaque in the grounds of North Sydney Council. The Rotary Club of North Sydney has always played a pivotal role in bringing the people of North Sydney together to support local causes and drive community-engaged projects, such as the monthly Crows Nest markets. The new D-Caf Dementia Café in Crows Nest, launched by a joint Rotary effort, offers a warm and welcoming environment for those living with dementia to take a break and have a cuppa with their loved ones. Such an initiative is incredibly important to a community that thrives on volunteer support and helping one another. Congratulations to the Rotary Club of North Sydney and thank you to President Toni Field and club members for their ongoing service to our community.
