Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore) (18:18:29):Today I recognise the efforts of Cremorne Point resident Amy Coleman inestablishing the Lower North Shore Ladies Club. Amy is a localcommunity member whose new group provides a safe and inviting placefor women to socialise and support one another.The number of members has grown rapidly over the past coupleof months and has attracted women from a range of professions, includingsmall business owners, young professionals, mums, those seekingwork and others. The club recently hosted its third Fabulous Fridaysevent, inviting members and guests to come together with a glass ofbubbles in hand.I thank Amy for her commitment in starting this local communityinitiative. It fosters such a vital and powerful support network for local women,from business opportunities to social activities. I am excited to watch the club grow and continue to celebrate our local women's achievements.Thank you Amy for your passion, your hard work and your advocacy in support of women. Congratulations on whatyou have achieved for women in this community and what you will achieve more broadly as time goes on and for women across our region.
