Celebrating Our Local Entrepreneurs

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I would like to congratulate a number of inspiring entrepreneurs from my local area. Mosman resident Palisa Anderson is serving up success by running two of Sydney's most sought-after restaurants. She is the second-generation restaurateur at the Chat Thai restaurants in Neutral Bay and Randwick, while running Boon Café and Jarern Chai Asian Grocer in the CBD. The mother‑of‑two also manages Boon Luck organic farm in Byron Bay and hosts her own cooking series called Water Heart Food on SBS Food. Mosman local, Anneke Van Den Broek has set up a premier pet grooming business called Rufus and Coco. The boutique salon has become one of Australia's most awarded pet care brands, offering blueberry facials and therapy mud baths for a proper pampering of our furry friends. Wollstonecraft couple Kyle Ford and Georgia Cann gave up their careers to become proud co-owners of Finders Distillery, producing top-shelf Australian dry gin and vodka and adapting to manufacture hand sanitiser during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Congratulations to these multi-talented individuals who set a great example for budding entrepreneurs.
