The Opening of North Sydney Academy of Music

—Congratulations to the recently opened North Sydney Academy of Music. This new Academy aims to be a leading provider of private musical education in Australia and will offer both primary and higher education levels of professional music tuition. Directors Jenny Sun and Peter Garrity have put lifelong ambitions into action by opening the Academy and hope to give back to the local community. An impressive team of educators has been gathered to teach alongside leaders of orchestras from both Australia and overseas. The Academy will offer tuition in violin, cello, piano, singing, guitar, and clarinet to name but a few. It will also offer teachings in musicianship and theory and will provide free concerts for the broader community to attend. Well done to Jenny Sun, Peter Garrity, and all those involved in paving the way for a promising future in the music industry. This institution will be a boost to our local musical talent.
