Mosman Prep Gold Medal Readers

—Speaker I want to congratulate Mosman Church of England Preparatory School students on their outstanding achievement in conquering the Olympic Reading Challenge. The boys have successfully become Gold Medal Readers. The Senior Primary boys have taken on five difficult yet exciting reading challenges. The reading challenges included Marathon Reading, which involved reading 20 books of different genres, Synchronised Reading, involving partnering with a friend and reading the same books and discussing afterwards, Triathlon Reading, involving reading three books in any series, Coach Time Challenge, meaning reading to a sibling or a parent, and finally Athlete Focus, which was learning about athletes from a biography. Junior Primary students at Mosman Prep have also gotten involved through focusing on Olympic‑themed books. I congratulate the Gold Medal Readers at Mosman Prep on their outstanding dedication and exciting achievement. I always love to see that tomorrow's generation are falling in love with reading.
