Monte Girls Win Gold at Mq Incubator Event

—Speaker I want to congratulate two Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College students on their outstanding recent achievement in winning the MQ Incubator Student Pitch Event. The event was held at Macquarie University last month and was a celebration of young entrepreneurs across Sydney. It saw numerous student-led startups pitch their project and business ideas in front of a live audience. Monte students Carina and Alissia are the founders of the app 'Pup' and pitched the app and its purpose on the night. The app is designed to help individuals take care of, manage and train their dogs to service dog quality. Their pitch was clearly well-received, earning them the coveted first prize and $500 prize money. It is evident that hours of hard work went into designing the app and preparing the pitch. I congratulate both Carina and Alissia on their well-deserved win and wish them every success for the future.
