Wenona School Achieves Historic HSC Results

—Speaker I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the 2024 HSC graduates from Wenona School, who have achieved the highest academic results in the school's history under the current HSC model. This exceptional cohort has broken records across every key measure. Seven percent of students received an ATAR of 99 or above, 37.8 percent achieved 95 and above, and 62.9 percent achieved 90 and above. The highest median ATAR for 2024 at Wenona was 92.95 and the highest mean ATAR was 91.8. Wenona also celebrated 11 all-rounders and a record 44 HSC Exemplar nominations, earning the school the rank of 27 in NSW - an incredible result. I congratulate all the girls in the 2024 cohort, who I am sure are enjoying a well-earned summer break and gearing up for their first year at university or perhaps a gap year. These results reflect the hard work of the students, the unwavering support of their parents and carers, and the commitment of the outstanding teaching staff at Wenona. The teachers' tireless work has helped shape these young women not just for the HSC, but for success in all aspects of life.
