Mosman Citizen of the Year

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I want to congratulate Susie Agoston, who was named the 2025 Mosman Citizen of the Year at this years Mosman Council Australia Day Citizenship ceremony. The Australia Day Citizenship ceremony will always hold a special place in my heart. It is fantastic to watch as our newest citizens celebrate being an Australian for the first time on this national day. Unfortunately, Susie was unable to attend the ceremony, but thankfully her son was there to receive her accolade in her absence. As a long time Mosman resident, Susie has been recognised for her contributions across the arts, sports, education, and philanthropy. Through her continuous efforts in curating exhibitions for Indigenous artists, leading bush regenerations, and coaching local netball teams, Susie has had such a tangible and positive impact on the Mosman community. She makes such a difference in the lives of locals by fostering cultural awareness, supporting Indigenous communities, and showing environmental stewardship. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Susie for being awarded the 2025 Mosman Citizen of the Year. We are so fortunate to have someone like Susie in our community who has spearheaded so many fantastic initiatives. Congratulations Susie on this outstanding achievement.
