2025 Hansen Scholarship

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I congratulate Mia Sinosic-Cass from North Sydney Girls High School for being awarded the prestigious 2025 Hansen Scholarship from the University of Melbourne. This highly competitive scholarship is granted to exceptional students who not only demonstrate outstanding academic achievements but also a commitment to leadership, community service, and the ability to overcome financial or personal challenges in their pursuit of higher education. Mia's dedication, resilience, and passion for learning have earned her a well-deserved place among just 23 students nationwide to receive this scholarship. As a Hansen Scholar, she will benefit from a full scholarship, living allowance, mentoring, and professional development resources throughout her university career. Mia's accomplishment is a reflection of her hard work, as well as the strength of the North Shore schooling community in fostering young leaders. I have no doubt she will continue to make a positive impact in her studies and in her personal life. On behalf of the North Shore community, I congratulate Mia on this remarkable achievement and wish her all the best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter of her education and career. I am sure her parents and teachers are very proud of her.
