Nilgiri's Voted Best Indian Restaurant In Australia

—In my community of North Shore, we are so fortunate to enjoy some of the best cuisine in the state, so I was not surprised to hear that local Indian restaurant Nilgiri's was crowned 2025's "Best Indian Restaurant in Australia". Nilgiri's has been serving authentic Indian cuisine in the lower north shore for over two decades from different venues. Their first restaurant earned them Sydney Morning Herald's Award for 'Best Indian' over a decade ago. I want to recognise the passion and dedication behind the restaurant and to congratulate husband and wife owners, Ajoy and Meera Joshi. Ajoy and Meera have spent decades crafting a fantastic Indian menu that capitalises on Australia's abundance of fresh seafood. I congratulate Ajoy, Meera, and the entire Nilgiri's team on this incredible achievement. Their commitment to quality, hospitality and innovation has not only earned them this award but highlights their passion for India's rich culinary heritage and I thank them for bringing their heritage, passion, and talent to the lower north shore, and for sharing it with my community.
