Loreto Kirribilli Raise Funds for Caritas Project Compassion

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I would like to recognise and commend the incredible efforts of the students at Loreto Kirribilli for their recent initiative in support of Caritas Project Compassion. Over the course of Lent this year, these young people demonstrated a deep sense of compassion and social responsibility by organising and participating in the Big Water Walk to raise funds for an incredibly important cause. As we all know, access to fresh drinking water is a struggle faced by many communities in developing countries, where it often requires long and arduous journeys. The students of Loreto Kirribilli took a meaningful step in helping to address this issue by raising funds to support Caritas and its mission to provide clean water and sustainable solutions to those in need. I am delighted to share that, through their hard work and dedication, the students raised over $4,000 for this important cause—a truly remarkable achievement. This initiative is a shining example of how our young people are leading the charge in promoting global awareness and social change. Thank you to Loreto Kirribilli's students for their leadership and kindness, and in supporting the incredible work of Caritas.
