Uts North Sydney Secure Back-To-Back Women's Titles

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I rise to congratulate the UTS North Sydney Women's Second Grade Cricket Team on securing back-to-back premiership titles with a commanding nine-wicket win over Parramatta at Tunks Park. It was a fantastic team performance, but special recognition goes to Laveena Rampal, who delivered a match-winning spell with the ball. Taking four wickets for just 10 runs across six overs, Laveena stifled Parramatta's momentum and was deservedly named Player of the Match. Her performance was a standout example of skill and composure under pressure. Marlie Pathirana led the scoring with a confident 23, supported by Vani Bhadana with 13, as the team comfortably chased down Parramatta's total of just 69 runs. I also want to acknowledge the leadership and support of the club's head coach, Michelle Goszko, whose dedication and expertise continue to inspire and develop the next generation of female cricketers. Congratulations to Laveena and the entire team on another successful season—you've done your club and our community proud.
