I Love Butter: Mosman's Favourite Bakery Turns 10

—Congratulations to I Love Butter, the beloved local bakery on Spofforth Street, Mosman, which celebrated its 10th birthday on Saturday 26 July 2025 where I was delighted to celebrate this sweet milestone! Founded by Mosman mum and self-taught baker Sophia Ly, I Love Butter has become a Lower North Shore favourite known for its buttery croissants, cinnamon scrolls, quiches, sausage rolls and more. What began in 2015 as a small café called Nosh+ has since grown into a boutique bakery with a delicious twist: offering both freshly baked goods and a bake-at-home range designed to bring joy to the early morning routine. Sophia's mission is simple – "take a moment in the morning", and her creations, whether gifted or devoured on-site, are made with love and perfect for sharing. From catering for corporate meetings to delighting weekend brunch-goers, the team at I Love Butter serves the community with warmth, flavour and flair.
