Celebrating Clontarf Foundation's Transformational Impact In NSW

—As Shadow Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, I was honoured to co-host yesterday's event with the Hon. David Harris MP to celebrate the extraordinary impact of the Clontarf Foundation in New South Wales. At the heart of Clontarf's success are the thousands of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men whose lives have been transformed by the program. Since 2012, more than 2,000 alumni have completed Year 12, transitioning into meaningful employment, training or tertiary education – achievements that are reshaping futures and strengthening communities. Equally inspiring are the current academy members, who show up each day with purpose, resilience and determination. Their commitment to education, leadership, and personal growth is a powerful example to us all. Yesterday we celebrated these young men – their stories, their families, and their futures. We were privileged to be joined by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC – Clontarf Foundation's Deputy CEO Craig Briety, alumni, and proud mums and many members of Parliament. To the Clontarf team and mentors: thank you for walking beside these young men every step of the way.
