I warmly congratulate John Feros, who retires as deputy principal at Mosman High School at the end of this term. John has been shaping young minds at Mosman High School since at least 1988. He has been a brilliant drama teacher during his decades of service. Many of his students have placed first in the State in Drama. Some have even performed on stage because of John's ability to bring out the best in people. John has also worked incredibly hard as co-ordinator of the school's speech nights. Teaching can be a challenging career, and John's commitment to the profession over five decades is to be commended. I wish John the very best for a well-deserved retirement and thank him for his long track record of service. I have always personally valued working alongside him, especially in the vision and delivery of the major school upgrade, including the theatre, which was incredibly important for the drama students. I know his students, his colleagues, particularly Principal Susan Wyatt, and the community will sorely miss John in the classroom.
