Archbishop's Award Winner Marcrisse de Vera

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—A hearty congratulations to Year 12 Loreto Kirribilli student Marcrisse De Vera on being selected for an Archbishop Award for 2025 by Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP. Those selected by the archbishop for this prestigious award must show evidence of helping and improving their community and act as a role model for people around them by engaging in varied and far-reaching work. I'm delighted for Marcrisse that she has met the high standards required by Archbishop Fisher and now can enjoy this award with her friends, family and fellow parishioners. Marcrisse worships at Our Lady of the Way Catholic Church and contributes to the liturgical life of the parish through reading, participating in the choir and assisting with offertory. At Loreto, she demonstrates leadership as a member of the Student Executive Team, leads prayers at school gatherings, and mentor's younger students in Years 7-10, guiding them in prayer and faith formation. Marcrisse is very much an energetic young woman, clearly committed to improving our community for the better, and I wish her the very best with future endeavours.
