20 Years of Teaching for Jess McCarthy

—Congratulations to Jess McCarthy on 20 years of outstanding service to public education, an incredible milestone for one of Mosman High School's most passionate and dedicated educators. Since joining Mosman High, Jess has taught Visual Arts from Years 7 to 12, led Gifted and Talented programs, and supported the professional development of staff through her coordination of Technology and 21st Century Learning strategies. For two decades, Artroom 5 has been Jess's creative home, a space that has grown and evolved alongside her teaching. Over the years, she has received teaching awards, mentored students who've gone on to be featured in ARTEXPRESS, designed our annual school reports, and embraced STEM to bring new dimensions to her classroom practice. Beyond the classroom, Jess has contributed to the broader educational community by presenting at conferences and curating countless art exhibitions. Thank you, Jess for 20 years of creativity, care, and commitment to Mosman High. You've helped shape the identity of the school, and the students and teachers are so grateful for all you've given and all that's still to come.
