Mosman Parks & Bushland Association 60th Anniversary

—I recognise Mosman Parks & Bushland Association as it celebrates 60 years of dedicated service to the protection and preservation of our local natural environment. Since its establishment in 1965, the association has been a steadfast advocate of Mosman's unique bushland reserves, foreshore areas, and native ecosystems. I acknowledge Joan and Eileen Bradley sisters who developed the Bradley Method of bush regeneration. I recognise a key achievement of the association in protecting the now walkway down to Balmoral from the extension from Middle Head Road and the Hospital at HMAS Penguin from development. Their commitment has ensured that future generations will continue to enjoy the beauty, biodiversity, and tranquillity of Mosman's natural spaces. The achievements are a testament to the dedication of its committee and members, whose collective expertise in environment, planning, and heritage continues to guide its important work. I recognise the committee: President Kate Eccles, Vice President Yolande Stone, Secretary Rosemary Adams, Treasurer Brian Watters, Membership Secretary Marg Woodforth, and members Robert Clark and Sue Wagner. I commend Mosman Parks and Bushland Association for its leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to conservation, and congratulate all involved on reaching this remarkable milestone.
