21 Years of the Sydney Breast Cancer Ladies Lunch

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I recognise the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation and the success of the 2025 Ladies Lunch, which raised $400,000 to support breast cancer patients and their families. Now in its 21st year, this event continues to bring together survivors, supporters, and advocates united in their determination to beat breast cancer. Chaired by Lynne Crookes OAM, the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation has spent 30 years funding research, equipment, and services that support patients through diagnosis and treatment. The Crookes family's dedication exemplifies the compassion and leadership that make the Foundation a vital part of our community. I commend the Foundation's Board, Deborah West, Renae Lopez, Lucy Vecchio, Laura Durkan, Miriam Stiel, Simon Murray, Patrizia Anzellotti, Fiona King, Lulie Murrary, Assoc Prof Richard West AM, Dr Kylie Snook, Dr Wendy Vincent, Assoc Prof Sanjay Warrier, and Assoc Prof Cindy Mak. I extend thanks to Annie Zukerman, Jo Stiel, Lily Avery and dedicated volunteers, ambassadors including Jessica Rowe AM, and generous sponsors whose commitment continues to change lives. The Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation reminds us that behind every statistic lies strength, resilience, and hope and together, we stand united to fight the end breast cancer.
