Crows Nest Rotary Donates Breast Biopsy Driver System

—I acknowledge the Crows Nest Rotary for their initiative and tireless efforts in donating a new Breast Biopsy Driver System to the Royal North Shore Hospital Breast Screen Service. Crows Nest Rotary were able to fundraise $15,000 through events and in collaboration with other rotary clubs. The System will make the process of a breast biopsy more efficient and comfortable, improving the quality of patient care at Royal North Shore Hospital. This technology will reduce the pain and anxiety of a process which naturally can already be quite stressful. I also recognise the new system as part of our efforts to become a more sustainable electorate, as this technology significantly reduces clinical waste and resource usage. This is a wonderful initiative, one that reflects the kind and selfless nature of the North Shore. I would like to thank the committee for their tireless ongoing work to rotary, Mark Staples, George Condell, Gloria Bailen, Owen Houston, Angelo Raveane, Louise Steblina, and Ross Gugliotta. Your work in our local community continues to be a source of inspiration.
