—I acknowledge the sad passing of Isabel Masterton, a cherished member of the Mosman community whose warmth, grace, and generosity touched all who knew her. Throughout her life, Isabel demonstrated remarkable resilience and deep devotion to her family. As a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she was known for her dignity, sense of style and quiet strength. She also embraced community life, valuing local connections and forming lasting friendships with those around her. At a time when opportunities for women were often limited and many young girls were encouraged to leave school early, Isabel forged a strong and independent career. Skilled in shorthand in the era of typewriters, she built a respected working life as an Executive Assistant and was highly valued for her professionalism and dedication. Isabel's presence enriched the Mosman community and those fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, generosity and appreciation for life's simple pleasures leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of her family, friends and neighbours. Vale Isabel Masterton.
