Zonta Club of Northern Sydney Supporting Vulnerable Women

—I recognise the outstanding work of the Zonta Club of Northern Sydney and its unwavering commitment to improving the lives of women and girls, both within our community and around the world. Recently, members and supporters gathered for the club's Birthing Kit Assembly Day, an inspiring initiative that helps provide essential birthing kits to vulnerable women in developing countries. These kits contain basic sterile supplies that can make a significant difference during childbirth, helping to reduce the risk of infection and improve outcomes for mothers and newborn babies. I would like to thank the North Sydney Community Centre for donating the use of the room and advertising the event to attract volunteers, as well as the Birthing Kit Foundation of Australia. I would like to acknowledge Pam Davis who is the President of the Zonta Club of Northern Sydney, Linda Bisnette, and all the members of the Zonta Club for their incredible work. I commend all members, volunteers and supporters involved in this important initiative. Their generosity and compassion demonstrate the very best of community service and remind us that local action can create meaningful change on a global scale.
