A Shade Better for Croquet In Mosman

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I recognise the Mosman Croquet Club and its dedicated members following my recent visit to present a certificate acknowledging the club's success in securing a Local Sport Grant. The grant funding will support the installation of shade equipment over two of the club's lawns, an important investment that will enhance player comfort, improve safety, and encourage greater participation in the sport throughout the year. Community sporting clubs such as Mosman Croquet Club play a vital role in promoting active lifestyles, fostering social connections and providing opportunities for people of all ages to come together and enjoy healthy recreation. This funding will help ensure the club remains a welcoming and accessible place for members and visitors alike. I was delighted to visit the club recently to meet with members over a lovely cup of tea. I acknowledge the committee members, President Joanne Nimmons, Vice President Chris Gingell, Secretary Tim Cormack, Treasurer Michael Chang, Grounds Captain Tony Michaels, Games Captain Rob Wright, John Fransen, Monique Gingell, and Rob Boyer. I commend the members for their ongoing dedication to the club and the broader Mosman community.
