After two years of supporting our community’s campaign on the rate rise. I want to genuinely thank everyone who made a submission to IPART, wrote to me, or shared their views on this issue directly to Council.

By now, you would be well aware that IPART granted North Sydney Council the approval to apply a massive rate hike of up to 63% on locals. But many of us still hoped that councillors would show restraint and reconsider the magnitude – unfortunately, they have disappointed us once again.
