The new building at Mosman High School has been unveiled after months of construction, with local students set to enjoy new state-of-the-art learning facilities as they return to school this week.
This is an exciting time for local students who have been patiently waiting while this build has been taking place.
This is a massive transformation for Mosman High, and the school has never looked better along Military Road, ready to welcome students through its doors and ready to change learning in Mosman for generations to come.
The new building contains 16 new classrooms, a new multipurpose hall, theatre, library, canteen, new outdoor and rooftop play spaces, and staff administration facilities. The school will accommodate up to 1,200 students, which will help to ensure that future enrolment demand is catered for.
Mosman High has also installed solar panels as part of this project that power not only the new building but will be able to provide electricity for the entire school.
I’m proud to have delivered this major upgrade to a much-loved local school alongside our community, and it’s been an amazing journey to ultimately ensure that our kids have access to the very best education facilities.
Stage two, which is the demolition of building C will start today, Monday, 17 July 2023 and is expected to take approximately six weeks finishing at the end of August 2023.
Once the demolition works for building C are complete, we can expect to see remediation and final landscaping works taking place before this project is completed later this year.
