Today is National Threatened Species Day, where we turn the spotlight on native plants, animals, and ecosystems that are under threat and reflect on how we can protect them into the future.
The day also celebrates the amazing work that is being done to save them by passionate conservationists, researchers, volunteers, and community experts.
Last year I got to see how locally the amazing team at Taronga Zoo Sydneyis saving the Southern Corroborree Frog from extinction, through the NSW Government’s ‘Saving Our Species’ program.
