Share the Dignity

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I acknowledge the incredible support my community in North Shore has shown to the Share the Dignity drive. Recently, Georgina from Share the Dignity came to my office to pick up an incredible amount of donations my office received for the March Drive. These donations will assist women experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, and those doing it tough as every woman deserves the right to dignity. The work of Share the Dignity directly benefits those experiencing period poverty, and works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of these women. I would like to especially thank those members of my community who dropped into the office and donated sanitary products for the drive. Every little bit is so important and ensures that we are able to assist those women in our community who are doing it tough and may need our assistance. I look forward to the upcoming August Drive, and Move4dignity in October where individuals, groups and businesses can raise funds by exercising. I also look forward to seeing local businesses and community groups get involved and raise much needed donations.
