North Sydney Girls High Ethics Olympiad Team Wins Gold Medal

—Speaker I want to congratulate the Ethics Olympiad Teams from North Sydney Girls High School who competed at the Australasian Middle School Competition. The competition challenges students to use their critical thinking schools to tackle and provide solutions to ethical dilemmas over a whopping six hour stint. There were two teams for North Sydney Girls High School who competed in the competition against 240 other schools with one team going on to win the Gold Medal. Congratulations to all of the girls from both teams, you should be so proud to represent your school and the local community on a national level. Special congratulations are in order for the Gold Medal Winners Alex Shearer, Amy Kilborn, Rebecca Stephen, Mandy Carnegie, and Belinda Sun. Well done on this amazing achievement. This team will now go on to represent Australia in the World Final in February, competing against 28 other teams from around the globe. I wish them the very best of luck in the competition, no matter the final result they should be proud to have come this far and be able to represent our country.
