—Speaker in December last year we lost a beloved member of the community unexpectedly, Rob Johnson. I want to recognise Rob for his outstanding contribution to North Shore. Rob was involved with the Balmoral Beach Club since he joined as a member in 1997. Since joining, Rob was an enthusiastic member and worked his way to being on the Board, eventually serving as the President of the Club for many years with exceptional leadership. Rob helped redefine the values of the Club through his vision and passion for community engagement. Along with expanding external activities such as charity swims and supporting the Nipper's Program, he has seen the Club through extensive planning and refurbishment, and was elected as a Life Member in 2018. Rob has no doubt had a lasting impact on the Balmoral Beach Club by helping shape it into the amazing group it is today, he will be missed. I would like to extend my condolences to Rhonda his wife, his family, and of course his friends in the community. Thank you, Rob, for being a pioneer of the Balmoral Beach Club and a champion for helping the community.
