North Shore Students Selected for 2021 HSC Showcases

—Speaker I want to recognise all of the local young artists that have been selected for Showcases for their 2021 HSC body of works. North Shore students chosen for the coveted ARTEXPRESS showcase include Gerard Barrios from Mosman High School, Phil Javier from Cammeraygal High School, Chelsea Proutt from Queenwood, Reina Ann Wu Reilly from North Sydney Girls High School, Grace Shattock from Loreto Kirribilli, Jason Zou from North Sydney Boys High School, and Alexandra Angus from Wenona School. Gerard, Phil, Grace, and Alexandra's pieces are all being exhibited at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. For the OnSTAGE showcase, Maximilian Shanahan, Amelia Frost, Charles Cole, Oliver Duthie, Alexander Manchee, and Charles Dight were all selected from SHORE. For Shape 2021, Paloma Ploeg from Mosman High School, Lucy Forrest from Queenwood, and Isabella Stone from Wenona were chosen. Erin Miles from Mosman High School and Olivia Snodgrass from Wenona were selected for Texstyle. Congratulations to all of these students on their success, they should be so proud that their creative pieces have been chosen for showcases, and will be exhibited around the state.
