Local HSC Subject Prize Winners 2021

—Speaker I want to recognise the success of North Shore students for their Higher School Certificate [HSC] examinations in 2021. The class of 2021 should be so proud for completing their final school year and HSC. It was a difficult year for students and they have been so resilient with the impacts COVID-19 has caused to their learning. They've had to navigate changes to the school year, being in and out of the classroom, learning online, and studying in isolation on top of the standard pressures year 12 holds. I want to specifically congratulate students of North Shore who have excelled in their examinations and have been awarded first place subject prizes across the state: Lydia Mae Colla from Loreto Kirribilli for Mathematics Advanced, Ginger Fitzhardinge from Wenona School for Drama, Sumedha Deo from North Sydney Girls High School for Hindi Continuers, Airi Sugahara from North Sydney Girls High School for Japanese in Context, Jerry Zhang from North Sydney Boys High School for both Indonesian Continuers and Indonesian Extension, and Ravi Mavila from North Sydney Boys High School for Information Processes and Technology. Well done and best of luck for the future.
