Toni Lorraine

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore) (16:05:50):

A fundamental part of cricket games are often the scorers. They can be unnoticed or unappreciated, but Toni Lorraine from Mosman Cricket Club has been scoring since the 1994/95 season at the Mosman Green Shield, when her son played for the Whales. As her son climbed the ranks, so did Toni, scoring for every grade, including premier grade cricket matches. Toni was asked to score permanently for first grade in 2001 and has been doing so ever since, contributing over 27 years of scoring for Mosman Cricket Club. Toni has scored for New South Wales several times and at the Sydney Cricket Ground for the Sydney Test match. Most recently, after Toni scored what she described as one of the most nerve‑racking games, she was able to hold the Belvidere Cup after the Whales beat Northern District Cricket Club at Bankstown in April. I congratulate Toni on her many years of service to Mosman Cricket Club, scoring games but also being an integral part of the Mosman Whales community. I look forward to seeing her continue with the club for many years to come.
