Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore) (20:14:33):

I congratulate local constituent Joshua Ross on his success at the Sydney Awards 2022, presented by the Committee for Sydney. Joshua and his business partner Adam McCurdie are the co-chief executive officers and founders of Humanitix and won the Emerging Leader Award, which recognises up-and-coming leaders in Sydney. Humanitix is an events booking platform that gives away 100 per cent of its profits from booking fees to different children's charities in Australia and across the globe. It also has a focus on improving accessibility at events to support patrons with disabilities. Winning the award is an amazing achievement as Humanitix is a relatively new organisation, having only been established two years ago. It is now the fastest growing ticketing site in the country and has ticketed iconic events that we all know and love, such as the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and the Cancer Council's 7 Bridges Walk. I congratulate Joshua and Adam on this success. I extend my congratulations to the entire team at Humanitix. I thank the City of Sydney and its major partner, Macquarie University Business School, for hosting the Sydney Awards 2022.
