Vale Cameron Guthrie

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—I want to acknowledge the recent passing of local Mosman resident Cameron Guthrie. Cameron sadly passed way in April, just aged 53. His death was a shock to all, especially members of Mosman Cricket Club, who have been greatly affected by his passing. Cameron was known as a legendary local player, making his first debut in 1991/92 as Cap number 354. Cameron started in the Mosman Cricket Club in the under 10s through to the over 40s master team. He played in two 2nd grade Premiership teams scoring a match winning 120 against Bankstown in the 2004 Grand Final. In 2009 Cameron was awarded the 45th Life Member, joining his father Bob as the clubs only father and son life member. Tributes have flowed from the Mosman Cricket Club who will never forget Cameron's on and off-field banter. I extend my deepest sympathies to Cameron's family, friends and the local Mosman Cricket Club members. Vale.
