Mosman Local Finalist in Miss Galaxy 2023

—I recognise Mosman local Natalie Mete who recently competed in the final of Miss Galaxy Australia, and while she did not win her ambition remains to help lift women's esteem. Since she was young, Natalie wanted to become a model and during the 2020 lockdown she discovered pageants before participating in the Miss World Australia 2022. Part of Natalie's drive is to ensure that we create a more realistic idea of people's bodies, especially on social media, where everyone can relate to each other and where everyone is respected. Natalie notes that everyone has flaws and that our uniqueness should be embraced. Natalie is currently a makeup artist and studying a Bachelor of Commerce and her biggest aspiration is to open a female-only gym, offering self-defence courses. Natalie also wants to advocate for mental health support and start programs that will offer therapy services to low socio-economic area in Sydney.
