Mosman Leads Electric Charging
Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)
—Mosman Counil's electric vehicle public fast charging network has achieved a significant milestone of reducing over 100,000kg of carbon dioxide emissions since its installation. Mosman Council has three fast charging locations at Mosman Square and Raglan Street West Carparks, that have recorded an average of 170 sessions a week, translating to over 2,800kg of carbon dioxide emissions. I also want to acknowledge that Mosman Council will be mandating that any future significant development works on multi-unit dwellings must include fitting the site to be equipped with electric vehicle charging points. As more and more locals across our community make the switch to electric vehicles, Mosman's electric vehicle charging network will continue to play a crucial role in promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact. I congratulate Mosman Council for leading the charge on reducing our carbon emission footprint in our local community.
