—Once again Norths Cammeray played host to one of the most anticipated events of the local community, Cancer Council NSW Stars of the North. This event can only be described as a high energy dance spectacular, bringing the North Shore and surrounding suburbs together and raising much needed funds for Cancer Council NSW. This year two Mosman locals dusted off their dancing shoes and put their skills to the test, Ignatius 'Iggy' Mendonca and Mark Wallis. Both are well known in our local community, with Iggy the franchisee owner and director of Pattisons Patisserie Mosman, and Mark who is the President of Mosman Rotary, board member and director of Taldumande Youth Servies, and committee member at Impact100. I can attest to both their dancing skills as they brought the house down with their fantastic routines, all in the name of raising money for a worthwhile cause. I recognise Cancer Council NSW for all their efforts combatting the insidious disease of cancer and I am proud to report that over $142,000 was raised which is incredible. Congratulations once again Mark and Iggy on an outstanding effort, you've made our local community proud.
