Living Futures Sustainability Festival

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—The Coal Loader in Waverton will once again play host to the Living Futures Sustainability Festival this October, with a full day of activities aimed at securing a more sustainable future. Locals will be able to learn how the smallest of changes can leave a big impact on your health, budget and the planet. The event is being run in partnership with North Sydney Council and media star and avid gardener Costa Georgiadis is excitingly one of this year's festival ambassadors. You will be able to attend cooking demonstrations by OzHarvest and the Sustainable Food Kitchen, browse clothing swaps, and attend a range of talks on topics including the top five ways to achieve net zero, how to achieve an all-electric home to reduce your bills, and sustainable tips and tricks for the whole family. These events are fantastic in providing information and advice for families and individuals to take the next step in leading a more sustainable life, because every little bit helps. I look forward to joining our local community in beautiful Waverton at the Living Futures Sustainability Festival.
