Clarke Medal Awarded to Professor Moninya Roughan

—Speaker I would like to congratulate Professor Moninya Roughan, who was recently awarded the Prestigious Clarke Medal by the Royal Society of NSW for her distinguished research in the natural sciences. Professor Roughan is a respected community member of the Sydney Institute of Marine Science and an esteemed leader at the Coastal and Regional Oceanography Lab at UNSW. Her work is recognised in distinguished international journals, including the recent publication in Nature Communications. It is heartening to see members of the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, a world-leading institute based in Mosman, achieve such accolades and recognition for their outstanding work. Professor Roughan's achievement is a testament to her dedication, innovation, leadership, and forward-thinking spirit in the field of marine science. I would like to offer my congratulations to Professor Roughan for her outstanding achievement. The Clarke Medal is a prestigious award, and Professor Roughan now joins a hall of fame.
