Justice of the Peace 50 Years Commemoration

—Speaker, I want to recognise the achievements of a few dedicated North Shore constituents who recently attained 50 years of service as a Justice of the Peace. I was recently able to join with some local JPs here at Parliament for an event honouring their commitment and service to our local community. I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Mr Noel McKenzie, Mr Michael Morton-Evens OAM, and Mr Robert Riches, who were there to receive their certificate on the day. I would also like to congratulate the North Shore locals who were unfortunately not present on the day; Mr Edwin Maltby, Mr William Peel, Mr Robert Macdonald, Mr Ian Jagger, Mr Phillip Cave AM, and Mr Anthony Debenham. Congratulations to all these recipients for your service to our local community, fifty years as a Justice of the Peace is an outstanding achievement. Thank you on behalf of the north shore community for your decades of dedication to serving our local area, we are truly grateful.
