Mini-Mos Community Fun Run

A brisk Sunday morning was not going to stop one of the premier events that graces the streets of Mosman. I am of course talking about the Mini-Mos Community Fun Run and Fair, hosted by the incredible parents and community of the Mosman Public School P&C Association and staff from Mosman Public School in partnership with local businesses and sponsors. Over the course of the morning more than 2,000 runners took part, running through the streets of Mosman. As well as raising money for Mosman Public School, each year Mini-Mos nominates a charity to raise funds for simultaneously. This year the partner charity was Kids Giving Back, which is an organisation that facilitates hands-on volunteering programs for kids and families across Sydney. I especially thank the Mosman Public School P&C for its outstanding work in organising the day and Anne-Marie Gibson, Claire Jolly, Philippa Macaskill, Kirsty Tanner, Ben Mangold, Lisa Gard, Ronel Engelbrecht, Kitty See, Rebecca Scelly, Sonya Lekanic, Lucy Walker, Jacqui Cummins, Sarah Hughes and Sally Giblin, and of course Principal Steve Connelly, for all their amazing work. The kids and I loved joining them. I congratulate all placegetters and runners.
