—Speaker Today I acknowledge the sad passing of long‑standing Middle Harbour Yacht Club member, Phil Clinton. Phil was a valued member of the community and dedicated an astounding five decades to the club. During his time at the Middle Harbour Yacht Club, Phil shaped the culture of the club, embracing a position on the Race Management Team, getting involved out on the water in volunteer teams, serving as the Vice Commodore of racing for five years, and chairing the Sailing Committee. For over a decade, Phil also served as the Crew Board Manager during Thursday Night Twilight Sailing. It is clear to see that Phil had a deep passion for and understanding of sailing, and loved the dedicated and caring community at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. Phil leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity and good humour, as well as his outstanding contributions to Middle Harbour Yacht Club and the broader North Shore community. Vale Phil Clinton.
